FAQ

  • Do I need to prepare anything before a session?
Not much! We'll cover this in our 15-minute call and if there are any remaining questions I will send these over to better-tailor the session, and make sure you have the right software set up. For online sessions, a stable internet connection is key.
  • Are sessions in-person or online?
Both! I provide in-person training across London and remote sessions via Zoom or Google Meet. You can choose what suits your schedule and location best.
  • Who is the training for?
Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. Designers, creatives, and small studios — whether you're a recent graduate, a freelancer upskilling, or part of a team that wants to move faster in-house. My sessions are always adapted to your current level and goals.
  • Are sessions recorded so I can review them later?
Yes — online sessions can be recorded on request and shared with you as a private link after the session. This is a great way to revisit key techniques or workflows at your own pace. Please let me know in advance if you’d like your session recorded.
  • Can I book a short consultation or one-off session?
Yes — I offer single Power Hour sessions (online or in-person), as well as half-day and full-day workshops. You can also book a block of sessions for longer-term support.
  • Do you provide certificates of completion?
Yes — I offer digital certificates upon request for any structured training session or workshop. These can be used to evidence CPD (Continuing Professional Development), especially within architecture or design studios. Just let me know if you'd like one after your session.
  • What software do you teach?
I offer training in Revit, Rhino, Cinema 4D, Illustrator, AutoCAD CAD workflows, and general 3D modelling techniques. Alongside this I cover rendering plugins such as Enscape, Corona, V-Ray, and Redshift. (Blender, Unreal and D5 Render will be added to this offering later in the year) Sessions are customised based on what you or your team need — from basics to workflow optimisation.
  • How many people can attend a session?
1:1 sessions are most common, but I also train teams of up to 6. For larger groups, I’ll work with you to build a tailored plan.
  • What’s your cancellation policy?
You can reschedule or cancel up to 48 hours in advance at no charge. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a 50% fee; same-day cancellations are charged in full.
  • How do I book a session or get started?
Use the contact form selecting one of the available dates, email me directly - Russell@ru-ro.com, or book a 15-minute discovery call. I’ll follow up with availability and next steps.
  • Do you offer student discounts?
Yes! I offer discounted Power Hours and flexible pricing for students and recent grads — just mention it when you get in touch.
  • How long do projects typically take?
It depends on complexity, but most design support can be turned around in 1–3 days with all of the base files provided. For larger projects or ongoing collaborations, I’ll suggest a realistic timeline after our initial call.
  • Can you work with us on-site?
Yes — I’m available for studio days and embedded support in London, this is factored into my fee. Remote collaboration is always an option too.
  • What kind of design services do you offer?
I provide 360° design support — from concept development and drafting to CAD modelling, renders, animation and technical refinement. I specialise in projects across architecture, interiors, jewellery and products.
  • How do you price your design work?
I offer three clear tiers based on scope and support level, starting at £450. Custom quotes are available for larger projects. You can book a free 15-minute call to discuss your project.
  • Do you work with client files or start from scratch?
Both. I can clean up existing files, refine ideas, or build from a sketch or moodboard — whatever stage you’re at.
